Welcome! We are excited to show you our products, and services we offer. Please contact us for more information on anything you see or even soemthing you expected to see but didn't! Our shop carries everything you'll need for sewing, serging, embroidery and our specialty - quilting!

Salavich's Serge 'n Sew was established in 1995 in our home. Our home business grew as a result of our knowledgeable customers' demands for new quality products and consequently we relocated to our current shop in Dryden. Salavich's now boasts at being considered "the" place for notions, quality quilting fabrics, quilting supplies, machines, classes and services to cater to all your sewing or serging needs. We are the Husqvarna Viking retail and service outlet in Northwestern Ontario.

What makes us different?

Our products are first class. Our shop is inviting and friendly and we encourage you to browse. We are proud of our products and take pride in our customer service.

Novice, beginner, intermediate and advanced quilting classes are offered at the store. Our award winning quilter/instructor is Vikki Favreau who is an accomplished quilt designer and fibre artist. Her creative talents are well known locally and respected internationally!

Courses run on a regular basis from September through May. These classes are a lot of fun and the participants enjoy sharing their accomplishments as well as their boo boo's!

If you are more into creating your own style of fashion or home decor perhaps our serger classes would be of interest. Once you recognize what your serger is capable of through one of our serger classes you'll wonder why you didn't do this sooner! Easy techniques to save you time yet produce virtuoso results.
